To make towels or denim wear, open end yarns are usually used. Cotton yarn can be blended with other types of yarn to produce effects like greater elasticity or shine to the yarn.

The process of knitting and yarn type are connected to each other since the bulk of the yarn will vary. For example, wool yarn is bulkier than cotton yarn and when knitting using these yarns, you need different crochet hooks. Knitting and crochet are two different processes with knitting being the older of the two crafts. A crochet thread on the other hand is used for edging knitted clothes or it is used to make doilies. Crochet can be a more creative craft with people using ropes or plastic to crocket different items. Those who wish to enter into cotton yarn trading must be familiar with the different varieties first.
