Author: The only thing better than a candy store is a bulk candy store where everything you’ve ever dreamed possible is offered in large quantities. Even if you don’t need to shop for several pounds of one specific candy, there’s an excitement and awe in simply seeing that much candy in one place…there for the picking, should you choose!
Bulk candy sells online as well, though you’re obviously missing the visual and scent factor. However, if you truly are purchasing in bulk, online protects the true candyholic from over purchasing…in theory, anyway.
Other than the childish pleasure of simply owning a bunch of candy, the other obvious benefit to bulk candy is the discount you’ll receive over individual or smaller allotments of the candy.
Large varieties of candies are sold in bulk quantity, everything from rock candy sticks in six different flavors to jelly beans in just about every flavor imaginable to candy cigarettes that, contrary to urban legend, really weren’t outlawed in the United States.
Before you decide to go with bulk candy or with smaller amounts from a retailer, consider the freshness factor of each and their turnover rate because stale candy is almost as bad as no candy!
