Author: Yesterday my wife and I shared a really pleasant day. We both had gotten up early so we could go look at all of the patchwork quilts for sale at our local fabric store. Earlier that week my wife had heard about their upcoming sale, so we decided to make an entire day out of it. At the time that she had mentioned this I didn’t know what she was talking about, but she is incredibly creative and imaginative. She had the beautiful idea to go and buy quilts, which we would then take to our favorite park.
It had been ages since we’ve done this, so we decided to pack an exquisite picnic lunch and spend the afternoon basking in the glorious sunshine. I decided that I would get up early that morning and make her breakfast in bed. It had been quite a while since I’ve done this, but I figured that it was going to be the start of a really beautiful day. By the time we ended up picking out our quilts the day was already starting to be rather memorable. We ran into an old friend of ours and talked for a few minutes and caught up, then we went and enjoyed ourselves like children for the rest of the day.
